About Mr. Productions DJ Service

A Short Biography

Mr. Productions DJ Service is owned and operated by Michael Pircio in Hamilton, Ontario. Michael and his company first began playing at parties in June 2004. Michael Pircio has played for audiences all over Southern Ontario, in both indoor and outdoor locations. He also DJs regularly on party cruises in the Toronto Harbour during the summer months.

Mr. Productions DJ Service specializes at playing music at all types of parties, including weddings, stag & does, anniversaries, school dances, graduations, and dinner dances. Mr. Productions DJ Service also has a great collection of Italian music (including tangos, waltzes and tarantellas). Michael personalizes the music for each party by using a DJ Music Planner, which oraganizes all the music for a party before the event. Included in the DJ Music Planner is a "Must Play" list, and a "Do Not Play" list.

Mr. Productions DJ Service uses music from subscription services that update music on a daily basis. A subscription music service provides digital music that is licensed for DJ use by the AVLA (Audio Video Licensing Agency). Music is played from both CD and digital formats.

All the equipment is professional. Mr. Productions DJ Service has various lighting and special effects, including intelligent lighting, green lasers, LED colour pallets, disco ball, fog, bubbles, and dry ice. Dry ice creates a blanket of low-lying fog on the dancefloor, so that it looks like guests are dancing on clouds! This is perfect for wedding pictures! In terms of sound system, the speakers are suited to the size of the room, and the size/age of the audience. The amplifiers and speakers range from a combined 1500 watts to 2500 watts depending on what is required for each party.

Mr. Productions DJ Service can also provide music, wireless microphones, and separate P.A. systems for wedding ceremonies. Also available is a video screen and digital video projector that can be used for displaying graduation slideshows, or videos of wedding ceremonies takem at resort.

Mr. Productions DJ Service is insured and a proud member of the Canadian Disc Jockey Association. Michael Pircio is also on the executive committee of the CDJA Hamilton Chapter.
